Every cost guide on this site is written from data, not industry estimates. When we publish a price range — say, "$300–$800 for brake pads + rotors per axle" — that range comes from real QuoteScore submissions, with outliers (top/bottom 5%) trimmed, and is updated when new data shifts the median by more than 10%.
QuoteScore is not affiliated with Angi, HomeAdvisor, Yelp, RepairPal, or any contractor lead-gen network. We don't sell user data, don't take referral fees from contractors, and don't accept payment to influence scores. The analyzer is free and ad-free; the project is funded by its founder.
