What it is, and what it is not

Scoring runs against a public dataset of 3,759 analyzed quotes across 31 trades, which you can download and check before you send anything. The findings are written up with sample sizes and caveats in The 2026 Repair Quote Report. QuoteScore is a small, founder-run company. It is not a licensed estimator or appraiser, and a score is an opinion about price against observed quotes, not a judgment about the quality of anyone's work.
